Submission Manual

Important:

For participation and submission in any form of presentation, every author should be registered in the congress. The registration is free.

Registration closed.

It will be accepted the following modalities:

All submissions will be related to different Themes. See all Themes here.

Authorship limitation: Each author can submit up to two works as first author and up to three as co-author (completing the participation within five works limitation, in its different modalities). Right after the registration, the submission settings will be available.


General submission guidelines

  • All submissions will be in abstract format, with at least 4000 and up to 8000 characters with spaces (in symposium, the chair person presents one abstract, and each group presents yours);
  • The character limitation includes title, author’s name and affiliation and references;
  • To submit, authors must check the template available to all different modalities;
  • Each author can submit up to two works as first author and up to three as co-author.

Submission rules for each of the modalities

The following are the specific submission guidelines organised by modality:

RESEARCH GROUP SYMPOSIUM

The symposia should have at least three and up to five different research groups (fulfilling, at least, three different institutions).

In this modality, individual presentations will not be accepted.

The full proposal should be made by the chair person of the symposium, in only one file. The proposal must contain:

  • symposium general abstract, presenting and relating the research groups activities, within at least 4000 and up to 8000 characters;
  • one abstract for each research group of the symposium, with up to four authors by group, within at least 4000 and up to 8000 characters.

 

  • All abstract must contain: title, author’s name and affiliation and keywords;
  • The proposal should be linked to one of the Themes.

The submissions will be evaluated in the following criteria:

  • Relevance of the presentation;
  • Contributions to the research field;
  • Theoretical and methodological discussion;
  • Coherence in writing, following the rules and patterns;
  • Organisation and soundness to the usage of references.

 

ORAL COMMUNICATION

The oral communication should be submitted in one of the Themes.

The submission must be made by the first author. All authors should be registered.

The submissions will be evaluated in the following criteria:

  • Relevance of the presentation;
  • Contributions to the research field;
  • Theoretical and methodological discussion;
  • Coherence in writing, following the rules and patterns;
  • Organisation and soundness to the usage of references.

 

NARRATIVE OF EXPERIENCE

The author will present an abstract (within at least 4000 and up to 8000 characters with space), about the experience. More than one author can present a collective experience, and one or more authors can present different experiences since they are intertwined. The Narrative of Experience wants to foster the discussion regarding different research experiences. The Narrative of Experience is linked to one of the Themes.
The submission must be made by the first author. The author responsible for submission, can include, as authors, the subjects presented in the narrative.The Narrative of Experience abstract should be written with at least 4000 and up to 8000 characters with space and must contain: title, specification of the experience, objectives, subjects related to narrative, period, theoretical standpoint and the main results.The submissions will be evaluated in the following criteria:

  • Relevance of the presentation;
  • Contributions to the research field;
  • Theoretical and methodological discussion;
  • Coherence in writing, following the rules and patterns;
  • Organisation and soundness to the usage of references.
